  • Episode 16: Kobe Sanders (Cal Poly Basketball)
    Jun 3 2024
Kobe Sanders was third in the Big West conference in scoring for the 2023-2024 season, averaging 19.6 points per game. This includes a five-game streak to close out the season, where Kobe averaged an impressive 28.4 points per game.

Kobe blossomed into one of Cal Poly's greatest players in recent memory, but as of April announced he had chosen to transfer to the University of Nevada to play for the Wolfpack.

In this episode, Matt and Nick go in-depth with Kobe on the details of the transfer portal process. We also hear from Kobe on how to cope with being the best players of a historically bad basketball team like the 2024 Cal Poly Mustangs.
