I love this podcast.

Interesting discussions on favorite author's books. A wonderful listen that I recommend to anyone interested in Ms Heyer's novels.

Fun podcast but…

Ok I’m a huge fan of these books and i I’m an American sooo the only problem I have is kind of a big problem they talk very softly. And they have British accents And even if I have the volume all the way turned up I can barley barley understand what they are saying and I feel like I watch enough British to that it’s not the accents but maybe in tv they know not to talk softly with the words mushing together sort of so I want to listen to people talk about the books because I want to talk to someone and it bothers me a great deal that the quite voices just blurred together

Thanks for your podcast of "A Civil Contract"

I really liked your coverage of this story, how you examined the characters so thoroughly. I agree with your assessment , so that is probably why. I read this book more recently, so it was fresher in my mind. It was frequently bittersweet, but the reader becomes hungry for thoses morsels of kindness and transformation in the main relationship, and there is that rejoicing when you see Jenny valued and eventually favored by Adam. Isnt it great that we can gain so much good from literature, even what is regarded as "light fare"? Thanks for your cheering reviews of a great author.

Fun Georgette Heyer podcast

Like chatting with friends about favorite regency series. Was so disappointed though that Audible does not have all the books. I was looking forward to listening to the podcasts and revisiting each of the stories, however, goal not met, they are not here. And this was among my enjoyable stories too. Disappointed in that.

Chatting with old friends about Heyer

I really enjoy this podcast and am working through all the back episodes. No one in my immediate orbit loves Heyer as much as I do....I read them again and again. So it's lovely to be invited to listen to these friends chat about these much-loved books in an informal way. There's no pretension to formal literary analysis... just a fun discussion about the characters and events. The only downside to the early episodes is that the audio quality is pretty terrible and it's difficult to hear them even at high volume. (Especially when reading passages.) But their equipment improves over time so the show only gets better and more enjoyable at that point.
