  • Addiction, Examination and Communion
    Mar 1 2026

I'm struggling with a gambling addiction and have tried to stop. What can I do? Why did Jesus ask the Father to forgive the people who crucified Him? A pastor of 36 years recently announced he has embraced an alternative lifestyle. I'm trying to wrap my mind around it! Who is being described in Revelation 22 as a person who subtracts or adds to prophecy? If we're totally forgiven people, why do some believers examine themselves each time before taking communion?

  • Forgiven. Period. - Part 2
    Mar 1 2026
Communion is a celebration, not an infestation of examination! Discussion Questions:
    1. Why do you think so many churches have turned a celebration into an examination?
    2. What was the real problem at the Lord's Supper in Corinth? How do we know?
    3. React to this statement: We keep trying to qualify for a supper celebrating that we're qualified!
    4. React to this statement: The instruction Paul gives the Corinthians is to examine how they celebrate, eat at home first, and wait for one another.
    5. What might the average Christian be thinking is "happening" each time at the Lord's Supper? What would you say to them in light of the truth?
    6. What does the Lord's Supper mean to you personally? Why?
    7. What was the biggest takeaway from this message for you?

  • "I'm bedridden. My friends say it's unconfessed sin!"
    Feb 22 2026

What is Jesus doing as our high priest now? I was told if I don't sow on earth, I won't have a bank account in heaven. Is that true? I have suffered from illness, grief, and loss. My friends and family say it must be from unconfessed sin. Is that the case? What role does church discipline have in the new covenant era? Did Jesus go to Hell for three days (2 Peter 2)?
