James is a seasoned wellness coach and founder of The New Standard Wellness Coaching. Bringing with him over seven years of corporate coaching experience in major telecommunications companies, James is now dedicated to guiding individuals through their personal wellness journeys. His professional development includes study at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) and ongoing education at the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). But it's not just about the credentials - James' approach to coaching is deeply personal and rooted in self-discovery. He believes in asking insightful questions that often go unasked and enabling his clients to confront truths they often avoid. However, James is not just a coach; he's someone who has personally experienced and overcome debilitating anxiety and depression. It's this experience that fuels his passion for wellness and the transformative power of exercise. Beyond the professional, James is also a drummer in an alternative rock cover band, a loving father to his 15-year-old daughter, and a tech enthusiast. His practical approach to wellness has fostered successful partnerships, such as those with Element Counseling in Dallas, TX and Monarch Behavioral Health in San Antonio, TX, and has led to significant client achievements, from getting in shape, starting their own businesses to improved relationships and reduced levels of anxiety and depression.
