    Matthew Dickson uses his MindAid.ca platform to help people with mental illnesses in developing countries gain access to basic mental health care.

    Mind Aid serves as a hub, directing people to organizations that are working on the issue. These organizations use models of basic mental health care that are low-cost, proven effective, and scalable.

    Bill Clinton, Forest Whitaker, Arcade Fire, Ashley Judd, Zak Williams (son of Robin Williams), and Tim Shriver, founder of the Special Olympics, have all endorsed some of these organizations.

    Matthew has successfully recovered from schizophrenia and has bicycled across Canada.

    Check out their Mind Aid 2022 Challenge to get 10,000 women with depression in Africa treatment by December 31, 2022

    JD the Author is a single father of three boys. Living in New York City. He was born in foster care because his mother was a drug addict. He grew up in foster care, where he was abused. JD was in and out of juvenile detention centers for two years when he was 11 years old and spent the majority of his life on the streets before finally deciding to leave.

    He wrote an Amazon bestseller book called “Post Traumatic Streets Disorder - A Battle within”, which dives deep into his life, including a suicide attempt and surviving and overcoming being traumatized by the streets.

    Steve Borys and his wife Amee live in Weston, Connecticut, with their daughter Emma, 19, and son Peter, 16. He has spent the last 24 years teaching high school social studies at Eastchester High School in New York. Steve spent 14 years as the head football coach at Sleepy Hollow High School in New York and is now an assistant coach at Weston High School in Connecticut, where he gets to work with his son, who is a team captain. Steve graduated from Fordham University with both a bachelor's and a master's degree. He was a team captain and honorable mention All-American guard at Fordham University.

    He recently published his first book: “How to Beat Stalin, Hitler, and the Southern State Parkway” Furthermore, Steve is a motivational speaker who gives people hope for a better tomorrow and a path to a successful life.
