  • In this episode Caroline and Liz have the evidence of Dr Ravi Jayaram who told the jury he caught Lucy Letby “virtually red handed” as she allegedly attempted to kill Baby K. He says he walked into Nursery 1 to find the baby collapsing, but the alarms on the ventilator were not sounding and Lucy Letby was standing nearby doing nothing. He said today that he didn’t call the police because he feared retribution from hospital managers. The jury have already been told that Dr Jayaram is the key witness in the case and their verdict will ultimately depend on whether they believe him or not. Lucy Letby denies attempting to murder Baby K who was a tiny baby girl born 15 weeks early.
