Lauren is an Indian and Caribbean immigrant from the United Kingdom and grew up in Northeast Atlanta. She studied strategic human resources at Cornell University and l economics and sociology at Emory University. She holds a senior professional in human resources (SPHR) certification.

Lauren is publishing her first book, Always Employed, a compilation of real stories of former refugees and ten simple, universally actual rules or “labor lingo” about searching for the right job opportunity for unemployed and underemployed working age groups. This read will inspire individuals seeking the HR secrets she has uncovered to remain.
