  • West Ham 2 Liverpool 2 - Match Reaction
    Apr 27 2024

Stick a fork in us, we're done. The pathetic limp towards the finish continues with another desperately disappointing display and more points thrown away, this time against a West Ham side that looked pretty disinterested for most of the game.

TLW Editor Dave Usher is joined by Paul Natton and Stu Montagu for the latest group therapy session. The result was bad enough, the performance was worse and we also had to ensure the sight of Mummy and Daddy fighting as Klopp and Mo went at it on the touchline. Just grim.

  • Everton 2 Liverpool 0 - Match Reaction
    Apr 25 2024

The Reds' ailing title challenge suffered a fatal blow in the worst place possible as Everton registered a deserved 2-0 win in the Merseyside Derby at Goodison. Sadly, it really did feel like the end. • Fulham 1 Liverpool 3 - Match Reaction
    Apr 21 2024

The Reds season is still alive after a much needed win at Fulham got their title challenge back on track. Goals from Alexander-Arnold, Gravenberch and Jota sunk the Cottagers in what was a more comfortable win than many expected.

TLW Editor Dave Usher is joined by Julian Richards and Dan Thomas to look back on this game as well as previewing the midweek trip to Goodison. There's also a heated discussion on refs, PGMOL, Forest's bizarre statement and the impact officiating has had on this year's Premier League.

  • Atalanta 0 Liverpool 1 - Match Reaction
    Apr 19 2024

The Reds bowed out of Europe with barely a whimper. Technically they won on the night, but nobody was fooled by that as Atalanta out-thought and out-fought Klopp's side, who once again failed to muster a goal from open play.

Chris Smith is joined by John Brennan and TLW Editor Dave Usher to briefly pick through the bones of this stinker before trying to lift the mood a little by reminiscing about some of our greatest European moments under Jurgen.

  • Liverpool 0 Crystal Palace 1 - Match Reaction
    Apr 14 2024

It goes from bad to worse as a second home defeat in four days has put the Reds right up against it now in the title race. Arsenal's defeat softens the blow somewhat but City are the big winners this weekend and now sit top. We've seen how this movie ends.

TLW Editor Dave Usher is joined by Paul Natton and John Gallagher to try to make sense of it all.

  • Liverpool 0 Atalanta 3 - Match Reaction
    Apr 11 2024

Well, that was unexpected. An abject performance against Atalanta, on a night when Anfield pageantry was already in short supply, left the Reds' Europa League hopes in tatters ahead of next week's second leg in Italy.

There were scant positives to take from a monumentally sobering evening, which raised huge question marks over the prospect of this team securing a fitting end to the Jurgen Klopp era. Chris Smith is joined by John Brennan and TLW Editor Dave Usher for this one.

  • Manchester United 2 Liverpool 2 - Match Reaction
    Apr 7 2024

Another game where the Reds completely battered a sorry Manchester United side, but criminally failed to win. That's three times now, with this one potentially the most damaging of all as top spot has been relinquished to Arsenal.

TLW Editor Dave Usher is joined by Paul Natton and Stu Montagu to look back - mostly in anger - at a wasteful display that may prove to have dire consequences in the chase for the title.
