    In the season two finale of The Margaret Cho Mortal Minority, Margaret and comedian Sherry Cola discuss the unsolved 2017 murder of a Chinese-American teenager that has recently been reclassified as a hate crime. Also, the anti-Chinese laws in the Bay Area town Antioch that led to the destruction of its Chinatown in 1876.

    We are highlighting the Oakland Chinatown Chamber Foundation who is raising funds to helpthe 71-year-old man who was brutally attacked on May 19th.

    This week, we are highlighting the San Leandro nonprofit Community Impact Lab. Founded by Xouhoa Bowen, Community Impact Lab envisions a world where women and their abilities are valued, where work and life can be integrated, and where families act as a force for positive social change.
