    Hey Midnighters,

This week’s episode of The Midnight Project is extraordinary—not only because of the incredible tracks I’ve lined up but also because it’s the first show I’m producing from my new home in Spain. The energy of this place is already inspiring my work, and I can’t wait to share it with you.

We kick things off with Victor Ruiz’s “Energy (Original Mix),” a track that perfectly captures the vibrant, electrifying spirit of the techno scene. Victor has a knack for creating music that hits you right in the soul; this one is no exception. It’s the perfect way to set the tone for what’s to come.

I’m also excited to include a personal favorite of mine, “Coming (Original Mix).” Even though it’s been out for a year now, this track resonates with listeners and holds a special place in my sets. It encapsulates a lot of my journey in the techno world—deep bass lines, melodic touches, and a rhythm that just won’t quit. Every time I play it, it brings back the energy and passion that went into creating it.

Don’t miss my remix of Sergio Marini and Luke’s “Whoopee.” I had a lot of fun reimagining this track, giving it a darker driving edge that’s perfect for those moments when you need the music to push you further. It’s all about balancing intensity and rhythm, which I always strive for in my sets.

As always, this mix is a journey—a sonic exploration that takes you from the acid-infused beats of A*S*Y*S’s “Acid Phase” to the futuristic vibes of KAS:ST’s “2084 (Space 92 Extended Remix).” Each track has been carefully selected to take you deeper into the night, wherever you are.

The full tracklist is available at 1001 Tracklists: https://www.1001tracklists.com/source/80bhhv/the-midnight-project/index.html. I’d love to hear your thoughts—let me know which track resonated with you the most, and if there’s an artist you think should be featured next, drop me a message. Let’s keep this techno journey going strong every Wednesday morning!

As I travel through the stunning landscapes of France and Spain, I'm soaking up the energy of these vibrant places, which has been the perfect inspiration for this week's episode. There's something about the rhythm of life here that syncs beautifully with the deep, driving beats of techno. Whether you're tuning in for a workout, a long drive, or just some reflective moments, this mix is designed to keep you moving and in the zone.

This week, we start with "Nexus" by Bart Skils and SUDO, a track that immediately draws you in with its hypnotic groove. Bart Skils, a key figure on Adam Beyer’s Drumcode label, is known for his masterful ability to blend deep, rhythmic grooves with melodic elements. His collaboration with SUDO on this track mesmerizes, setting the perfect tone for the rest of the mix.

Next, we dive into my remix of "Whoopee" by Sergio Marini and Luke. Working on this remix was an exciting challenge, as I wanted to add flavor to the dynamic track. Sergio Marini is well-respected in the Italian techno scene and is known for seamlessly merging classic and modern sounds. Luke’s contribution adds an extra layer of depth, and I’m thrilled with how the remix turned out, pushing it further into peak-time territory.

Closing out this highlight is "Final Fight" by Cosmic Boys. These guys have been on a roll, consistently delivering tracks that light up the dancefloor. Hailing from France, Cosmic Boys has perfected a sound that combines powerful basslines with intricate synth work. "Final Fight" is a prime example of their ability to craft hard-hitting and melodically rich tracks.

Remember, the full tracklist is available at 1001 Tracklists: www.1001tracklists.com/source/80bhhv/the-midnight-project/index.html. Hi, Midnighters!

Welcome to another electrifying episode of The Midnight Project. As the sun rises on a new Wednesday, we're diving headfirst into the pulsating heart of techno, where every beat tells a story, and every track takes us on a journey. This week's selection is packed with powerful productions that will resonate through your soul and fuel your day, whether you're hitting the gym or the road or need that perfect soundtrack for reflection.

We kick things off with Metodi Hristov's "Build To Destroy." If you've been following the underground techno scene, you'll know that Metodi never fails to deliver tracks that push the boundaries. "Build To Destroy" is a prime example of his ability to fuse dark, driving beats with intricate layers, creating a powerful and immersive sound. This track sets the tone for an episode about energy and emotion.

Next in line is "Despiertate" by the ever-enigmatic Maya Mar. This rising star has been making waves with her hypnotic rhythms and deep, pulsating basslines. "Despiertate" perfectly represents her ability to transport listeners into another dimension, making her a force to be reckoned with in the global techno landscape. Keep an eye on Maya Mar—we can't wait to see where she goes next.

I’m particularly excited to feature Hans J's "Eleventh Floor," which is coming soon on my label, Redesign Records. Hans J has consistently delivered quality tracks, and this one is no exception. "Eleventh Floor" captures that deep, driving energy we all crave, with a groove that’s impossible to resist. Supporting and releasing tracks from such talented artists on Redesign Records is always a pleasure.

Another highlight is "Trombe," a collaboration between Mila Journée, Olivier Giacomotto, and Kiko. The result is nothing short of spectacular when these three talents come together. Mila Journée's deep, emotional style blends seamlessly with the seasoned expertise of Olivier and Kiko, creating an atmospheric and intense track. This is techno at its finest, a true journey into the sound.

As always, you can check out the full tracklist at 1001 Tracklists. I’d love to hear your favorite track of the episode, so don’t be shy—drop me a comment, and let’s keep the conversation going! And, of course, if you know a fellow techno lover who hasn’t joined the ranks of the Midnighters yet, share the love and bring them into the fold.

For bookings, contact contact@redesignrecords.com and subscribe for a new techno mix every Wednesday at 6 AM (CET) via sebastiaanhooft.com.

Let’s make this another week to remember. Stay positive, stay energized, and keep the techno vibes alive!

    Cheers,

    Sebastiaan
