    In this episode of The Model Podcast, we will be talking to Fenn O'Meally - an award-winning filmmaker and journalist who sits on our Talent Board at Models 1. With her interests lying in themes of creative culture, she is the UK face of Highsnobiety, Girl On The Ground at BBC Radio 1Xtra and spends her time interviewing some of the industry's most prolific names both in front of and behind the camera.


    As a filmmaker, Fenn has produced and directed films for some of the industry’s leading brands including; Chanel, Paul Smith’s AW19 campaign, Nike and House of Holland. She has interviewed a wide range of notable names. From Kim Jones to Stormzy, for publications such as ELLE and Highsnobiety, her work is fuelled by her curiosity and furthered by her personable nature and desire to share honest anecdotes of life.


    We’ll be speaking with Fenn about being a creative in the Fashion Industry and the trials this entails.

    In this episode, we are talking to Mouchette Bell, a model and stylist.

    Mouchette has worked as a stylist for major publications in New York such as Vogue and Red Magazine and in the UK, she has worked with British Vogue.  Discovered at a graduate fashion week show several years ago she was modelling at by a Fashion Director @ Elle who then introduced her to Models 1, we signed her on the spot. Starting without a book upon starting at the agency, within six months she had an outstanding portfolio.

    British born top male runway model Ryan has previously worked for Dolce and Gabbana, Versace, Vivienne Westwood and Thierry Mugler amongst others, has also made a name for himself around the pottery wheel. Winning the BBCs Great Pottery Throwdown in 2017, Ryan’s ceramic skills, though primarily self-taught, have been his passion since starting out in 2013. Recently, after years of owning his own print company VooPrint, Ryan launched his own clothing label with his sister. Today we are discussing the art of maintaining several side hustles.

  • Caroline Rush: London Fashion Week

    In this episode of The Model Podcast we are talking to Caroline Rush – Head of the British Fashion Council.

    Caroline oversees the British fashion industry’s activities within the domestic and international markets, providing integral support for emerging and established designers and attracting foreign buyers and investors. Having initially pursued an art course, Rush established her career in public relations and marketing in the early ‘90s in Manchester. She began her long-term collaboration with the British Fashion Council, providing creative and marketing solutions for London Fashion Week in 1998. In 2002 Rush launched public relations company Crush Communications, serving as managing director and overseeing the council’s press office for all initiatives, including the British Fashion Awards, as well as providing strategic public relations advice. Having joined the Council as Chief Executive in 2009, Rush immediately oversaw the council’s relocation to Somerset House in central London and as part of the 25th anniversary celebration.
