Why wasn’t the woman who said I told my husband something bad may have happened to Michael?

If Mike was practicing how to get away from the bad guys that makes me feel as if someone he did not suspect had gotten close to him that night , close enough to kill him and he didn’t seem like he was going to let that happen, I think she did it ! And he wasn’t expecting it , don’t trust anyone she was probably in on it
