Jackdaw desperately wanted to win and told his friend Magpie about his plan to compete for the position on the King’s flag. Magpie thought the whole thing was silly. Then Flick turned their work into a story book. Flick and Tom Barry then went back into the school to do workshops and recording sessions with the class to bring their story of Spotty to life for this podcast. Spotty is a dripping wet sock who is all alone and sets out through the outdoors to find his friend. All the sound effects and character's voices were performed by the children from Year 1. The story is narrated by Flick Goodman. The music and singing were composed, written and performed by Flick Goodman.

Tom & Flick Goodman then turned their work into a story book. Tom & Flick then did workshops and recordings with the class to bring their story of Leafy to life for this podcast. Leafy leads a simple life and eats the same things every day. One day his woodpecker friend encourages him to seek out new adventures and new food to eat. All the sound effects and character's voices were performed by the children from Year 2. The story is narrated by Tom Barry. Tom & Flick Goodman then turned their work into a story book. Tom & Flick then returned to the class for workshops and recordings to bring the story of Izzy and her friends to life for this podcast. Izzy is all alone and no one answers her call. She decides to use her bark, sense of smell and magical fiery tale to be brave and seek out her friends in the wonderous Woolston Park. All the sound effects and character's voices were performed by the children from Year 3. The story is narrated by Tom Barry.     Home From Year 4's Big, Amazing, Wonderful Book of Poems. Written by the children in Year 4 at Bruche Primary Academy School in Warrington and Flick Goodman from Story Stitchers. Flick was invited to spend the day with the class creating poems that shared with the world who the children are and what matters to them. The children then created a background for their poem to be put into their own poetry book. From pugs to pandas, best friends to football, and homes to hobbies, each poem is an insight into what mattered to each child on that day.
