The Nothing Podcast With Nobody Important

By: Cool Side Productions
  • Summary

  • What makes somebody "Important"? Each week, two self-proclaimed “nobodies”, John Panepinto and Frank Caiati and their equally lost production team will interview a regular every day person to learn what it is about them and their career that makes them a “somebody.” The conceit lies in the idea that anybody and everybody is interesting. From the highest paid doctor to the lowest paid street cleaner, everybody has a story to tell and we want to hear it. Do you know what it takes to be a garbage man? Or a priest? Or a politician? Neither do we. But we’re going to find out. Theme Music by @ThatKidGoran

  • The Singer Songwriter - "They Were All Wearing Sandals"
    Dec 28 2021
The season finale has finally arrived and it's a great one. Local singer/songwriter Pasquale Gee came by the show to talk all things music. Being a Marine Park native, he discussed with the crew what it truly means to be a neighborhood person who followed his dreams and achieved his goals in the face of personal adversity. In this jam packed episode the crew touched on everything from childhood trauma, to stage fright, to famous primates. As a bonus Pasquale performed two songs live in the studio!

  • The Professional Actor - "We Are Charming"
    Dec 21 2021
This week's episode can only be described as "trouble." If there was ever to be a spiritual third to John and Frank, it would be John Stillwaggon. A professional actor in both children's and adult based theater, John has been a long time friend of the show as well as a long time unpredictable force of nature. He lets the crew in on what it's like to be a REAL actor with realistic goals and practices. As a bonus, the child, Daisy, makes her first appearance on the show as a not so silent audience member!

  • The Man of a Certain Age - "That Patch is a Quilt"
    Dec 18 2021
Who is Cliff Hesse? A man of dignity. A man of great renown. An "estinguished" man as John says in our intro. Most importantly he's a man who has paid his dues and lived a life unmatched. Far from a nobody, Cliff sat down with the gang to wax poetic about his experiences over many decades and clue them in on what it was like living through so much history. A delicate balance of comedy and heart felt wisdom, this episode stands as a unique opportunity to hear someone discuss something that we all uniformly experience. Life.
