  • Why Islamists hate the West and feminism
    Aug 16 2024

Taylor Swift's Eras Tour shows in Vienna were canceled because of a planned ISIS terror attack. One of the suspects was a 19-year-old who had recently pledged his allegiance to ISIS after being radicalized on TikTok. The thwarted attack was symbolic of Islamism's rejection of Western values, and Western women.

On this week's episode of The Philos Project Podcast, Dominique is joined by Hannah Garces to discuss the clash of civilizations between the West and the Islamic world as support for Islamic fundamentalism becomes more widespread. Hannah speaks to the radicalization of Gen Z on TikTok, and the implications this will have on the elections, college campuses this fall, and the West at large.

The international attention Swift's concert cancelations garnered starkly contrasts the media's silence over the horrific massacre at the Nova Music Festival on 10/7. This week's episode is about more than a canceled concert, it is about the war on the West, the radicalization of our youth, and rampant antisemitism in the media.

  • Reacting to Candace Owen’s Holocaust revisionist history
    Aug 1 2024

Why are people in social and political life motivated to downplay or deny the Holocaust?

In a recent video posted on her YouTube channel, Candace Owens argues Hitler was not the most evil political figure of the 20th century. She further contends the U.S. education system fixates on Hitler, the Jews, and the Holocaust as a propaganda tactic taken out of the Soviet Union's playbook.

Jesse Tannetta, a Holocaust educator with the Anti-Defamation League, joins Dominique in this episode of the Philos Project Podcast. Jesse not only corrects Candace Owens and her revisionist history but emphasizes the importance of Holocaust education in a post-10/7 world with rampant antisemitism.

  • Myths about the US industrial war machine
    Jul 26 2024

What is the history of the U.S.-Israel relationship, and why is it strategic? With the growing popularity of isolationism and neo-Marxism in response to the war in Gaza and the looming U.S. elections, terms like the "U.S. industrial war complex" have come to vilify our robust industrial military base and alliances abroad as "evil." For neo-Marxists, the strength of the U.S. military abroad is a form of neo-colonialism. Isolationists strongly believe that foreign aid abroad is a form of government corruption undermining the America First policy.

This week, Dominique is joined by Philos' Philip Dolitsky to discuss the history and necessity of a robust U.S.-Israel military alliance. The United States must maintain its strength abroad in a changing world order. A strong relationship with Israel, the only democracy in the Middle East, has never been more important. While not evident at the surface, Israel is intrinsically linked to America's security interests. A proper "America First" policy agenda begins with U.S. strength abroad.
