    The supernova of 1054 which today is known as the crab nebula was seen in China, Japan, Korea, Arabia but not in Britain. Why? Maybe because it did not fit in with the teaching of the most intellectual people of the tie, the monks.

  • The unpredictable June Bootid meteor shower

    The June Bootid meteor shower which occurs o the night of June 27/28 each year is normally a very feeble affair with only 1 or 2 meteors seen each hour. Some times it can spring suprises. The last was a massive outburts of meteor activity in 1998 when over 100 meteors per hour were seen. what will happen this year?
