    In honor of the ongoing struggle with mental health and as we say farewell to another month of awareness, I’m sharing my personal recipe for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. As a survivor of an attempted abduction, near-fatal car crashes, and the last year of trauma we have all endured, it is obligatory that I share what it was like, what happened and what it is like now living with the lingering effects of events I haven’t recognized as traumatic until recently. This isn’t some pity party, its a ballad of experience, survival, and recovery. The symptoms of PTSD take on many forms. The treatment of this chronic disease takes on many forms as well.
