    Hey y'all!

Welcome back to another D&D episode with your favorite heroes!

After a long and arduous journey to flee the burning town after a dragon attack, our heroes find themselves with a little bit of reprieve.

    Or so we think?

Just as soon as our trio is ready to continue heading south towards their destination, they get attacked by the same dragon that ravaged the town.

And...some things happen. Battle ensues. Death saving throws occur. Some...don't make it to the end.

  • Bad Description Only: Disney Trivia
    Jul 18 2024

    Hey y'all!

Yes, we are back with more trivia, but with a twist.

Join us as both Misty and I try to guess the Disney film based on the worst description you can think of.

While Misty thinks we didn't do a horrible job, I on the other hand, feel like I have failed miserably as the Disney person in this group.

I will also say that some of these descriptions could work for multiple films as you will hear me argue in this episode.

Do you think you'd do better or worse with these descriptors?

Let us know in the comments!

  • Mrs. Doubtfire
    Jul 11 2024

    Hey y'all!

Welcome back to another magical moment in 90s culture!

This movie, being a Robin Williams film aside, set the precedent for millennial humor in so many ways. Some of us were introduced to drag for the first time, and we didn't even bat an eye. We're just like yea, that makes sense; a man dresses like an old lady, full prosthetic face and bodysuit, all so he can spend time with his kids.

However, teaching kids and adults that even though you're going through something messy and world-shattering, like a divorce, that doesn't mean you can't learn new ways to still be a family.

Mrs. Doubtfire says it, "Just because mommy and daddy don't love each other anymore, doesn't mean that they don't love you. There are all sorts of different families. Some families have one mommy, some families have one daddy, or two families. And some children live with their uncle or aunt. Some live with their grandparents, and some children live with foster parents. And some live in separate homes, in separate neighborhoods, in different areas of the country - and they may not see each other for days, or weeks, months... even years at a time. But if there's love, dear... those are the ties that bind, and you'll have a family in your heart, forever."

No matter what type of family dynamic you have, "love is all you need".

  • Indpendence Day: The Movie
    Jul 4 2024

    Hey y'all!

Did you know that roughly every 6 days around the globe, a country celebrates it's independence from Britain?

USA starting the rebellion in 1776, like we do.

However, in 1996, the entire world fought for it's independence, "not from tyranny, opression, or persecution...but from annhilation."

That's right, for one great moment in history, the entire world put aside its petty differences so that we, the human race, could survive an alien invasion. You heard me correctly folks...aliens.

And what better way to celebrate the 4th of July with the greatest movie of all time, with the best speech of all time? We bring you, Independence Day!

  • Morning Glory Milking Farm: Book Review
    Jun 27 2024

    Hey y'all!

Welcome back to another Should Have Stayed Curious Book Club review!

In this installment of Book Club we bring you, Morning Glory Milking Farm: Cambric Creek - Sweet & Steamy Monster Romance Book 1.

We shit you not....this was a ride. And not the happy Disneyland rides you ride when you want to feel all happy inside.

No, this...this was something else. The writing was marginally better than our previous installment of Ogre smut, but that just made things worse.

Not to mention there was quite the graphic iteration of sucking, squeezing, and spilling.

    Just...ick

Oh let's not forget that some of us listen to the audio book version so not only does our imagination suffer, so do our ears.

    Stay curious my friends...

  • Guess That Animal: Disney Edition
    Jun 20 2024

    Hey y'all!

Welcome back to more Jungle June!

Today's episode is all about animals - duh - but specifically Disney animals.

Misty tests my knowledge yet again with Disney trivia and to see how well I know my Disney animals. I will admit, while I did pretty well, I did forget the names of some very important furry friends (I'm sorry Erin), and I will never live that down.

So sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride!

  • Shrek: The Movie
    Jun 16 2024

    Hey y'all!

As usual, I am late to posting this week's episode. Y'all don't (you do, I know you do) want to know about the bs I suffered on Thursday that just made me nope from the day.

Anyways, as promised we bring you our favorite swamp denizen, Shrek!

As a child many of us didn't like Shrek and how "rude" he was. As an adult, however, he is everthing we hope to be; to be left alone and live in peace. No unwanted guests, no solicitors, just quiet.

Do y'all realize what we would give to just be left alone for just a week? The releif we would feel!

Enjoy the trip down memory lane and what has become a household token for many millennials.

  • Zoboomafoo
    Jun 6 2024

    Hey y'all!

    Welcome to Jungle June 2024!

We're starting off this month with some Zoboomafoo! Misty grew up watching this show and I...didn't. Once we found out that Misty had seen something that I hadn't well, we just had to watch it and talk about it!

I'm surprised I never watched this show considering how much I enjoyed informative shows like this, and the fact that it has to do with animals and I listened to every word Steve Irwin had to say. It would explain a lot about my approach to animals, and Misty's reluctance to let me near any of them.

The Kratt Brothers do a great job at teaching their viewers about animals, animal safety, their habitats, etc. I might just have to binge watch this entire show in my 30s.
