Have you ever not received a promotion, were laid off, not chosen for a school team or a higher paying position? Those past failures had to happen so that you would change the direction you were on to be were you are today.

You can see it and then it is ripped from you and your life. This is meant to happen. It is meant to teach you a lesson that though you could be this incredible person your about to be, you are menat to be something greater.

Life is difficult to understnad in the moment but if you remember that life is happening for you and not to you, you will rejoice everytime things don't go your way immediately. It only means things are meant to go your way in the future that will be far better than were you are today.

You ever wake up from a dream and wonder what was that about? What was the lesson I was supposed to learn from that?

I had a dream today and at the end of the dream, I realized the lesson. It was if a person does not support me in life, I will not listen to them.

"If you don't love me, I will not listen to you." Remember those words the next time someone's words attempt to hurt you. "If you don't love me, I will not listen to you".

Life is like a bike race. You start off strong but along the way, you slow down, the pain kicks in, and the doubt begins to take over. What happened to all the enthusiasm and confidence? What happened to the "I can conquer anything attitude?" It's not gone, it's just life.

There will be moments of jubilation but most of life is pain and struggle. Life is wonderful because we can appreciate the moments of success because we gave it our all and we know what it took to be at the finish line.

Never give up. Show up to race. And enjoy the pain, you are worth it.

How intensely do you listen to someone speak? Do you have in the back of your mind that their words can change your life? Your belief system?
