Though we may regret the pirate's life after seeing what's on the menu, join us as we learn a little more about the lives and history of swashbuckling buccaneers. Pirates had a progressive hand in history, and were very much involved in the spice trade (even if it was stolen goods.)

The history of the spice trade is crazy y'all! It's dark and violent; and in a time when black pepper was worth the same as gold, men yearned and killed for it. This is a multi-parter, and we chose to start out with the very topical, and controversial spice trader, Christopher Columbus. We start out with a brief overview of the ancient history and myths (there's dragons!) and then delve deep into exactly what Columbus did on his 4 voyages, and the aftermath.
