EmKay is joined by special guest Rachel Drake to preview the fields at the Broken Arrow Skyrace 46K. This race is not only a fantastic stand-alone short trail race, but it is also the selection race for the 2023 World Mountain and Trail Championships Short Trail team. We have two former Broken Arrow champions returning on both the men's and women's side and plenty of former Team USA athletes. Join Sub Hub Podcast hosts Dani Moreno and Emkay Sullivan as they preview the 2025 Team USA Selection race happening this weekend at Sunapee Scramble in New Hampshire. This Six03 Endurance event was an incredible selection race for the 2023 USA Team.The course features a challenging 9.3-mile route with 3300 feet of elevation gain. Lap One begins with a 2.3-mile climb up the service road, gaining 1500 feet of ascent, followed by a fast 1.75-mile descent on ski trails. Lap Two covers 3.5 miles of total ascent, starting on the service road before transitioning to the technical Newbury Trail on the way to the summit, with 1800 feet of ascent. The descent for this lap is the same as the first.With Team Spots on the Line, the top competitors will secure their places on the US Mountain Running Team to compete at the World Mountain and Trail Running Championships in Canfranc, Spain, from September 25-28. For the men, the top 4 eligible runners will earn spots on the US team, while the top 3 eligible women will secure spots on the US Women's Mountain Running Team. Additionally, there is an auto-spot for Grayson Murphy (2023 World Champion).On the men's side, expect to see top contenders like Dan Curts, Andy Wacker, Christian Allen, Morgan Elliot, and David Sinclair, among others. Dani and Emkay preview the Golden Trail World Series race in Zegama, Spain this weekend. As the only marathon distance left in the series, it will be interesting to see some different players mix it up at the front of the field.

On the women's side - Spanish starts Sara Alonso and Marta Martinez will have to race defending champion Sylvia Nordskar and last year's OCC runner-up Judith Wyder.

On the men's side, the flying camel Elhousine Elazzoui comes back as the favorite after a second place to Kilian Jornet last year. But, he will have to contend for the top spot against athletes like Luca del Pero, Thomas Roach, Ezekial Rutto and more!
