The Things that Parents wish their Teenagers knew by DrStem Mahlatini

  • Summary

  • When you consider that the teen years are a period of intense growth, not only physically but morally and intellectually, it's understandable that it's a time of confusion and upheaval for many families. Most parents and teenagers wonder why they have trouble communicating. Every little bit of insight helps, especially when it comes from you the parent and you the teenager. I have shared with you what the teenagers have said from my book, 471/2 things to say to your teens and how to say them. Today I will share with you what the parents want the teenagers to know from my book, 47 ½ things Teens need to know about getting along with their parents. Despite some adults' negative perceptions about teens, they are often energetic, thoughtful, and idealistic, with a deep interest in what's fair and right. So, I hope this show will help to bridge that communication gap and help the teenagers understand where their parents are coming from.
