Welcome to the unhelpful parenting podcast episode that was so good we had to do it twice! Just kidding… Sam forgot to hit record the first time so you’ll get to laugh with us about an extra fail this week XD

We are coming for the Bluey minisodes this week, and Sam has a good soul cleansing whinge about Australian food after a weekend at a French festival eating real pastry (not quite parenting we know – but it was clearly a life changing pastry…). But at the heart of the laughs are two more parenting confessionals (one of them Becs which she doesn’t like to admit!) and then we are in to the dad jokes you sent in.

When you listen to the last parenting confessional – make sure you pick a team. Does it sound like a mom fail or a dad fail? Comment who you think got it right (aka Bec of course…) – or if you sent us the story – tell us! It was anonymous so we don’t know!!

Dads – it’s up to you if we do the dad jokes as a whole segment again. If you send us the jokes it’ll be back by popular demand! Moms – if you roll your eyes as hard as Bec, let her know she’s not the only one!

In fact, that’s what we are here for. We may not be the best parenting podcast or the best parenting channel for advice – but we are here to encourage you that in the pits of parenting fail moments you aren’t alone. The wheels fall off for all of us at one point or another, you aren’t the only one who struggles, and you are going to be okay. We hope this makes you laugh and feel some joy in your parenting journey!

This week is brought to you by the worst parenting advice you’ve ever received and a few hilarious parenting confessionals.

The confessional follows stories of accidentally spiked milk donations, even more spiked eggnog, and a black eye thrown in there too.
