As the Director of the University of the West Indies Seismic Research Centre (SRC) in Trinidad and Tobago, Dr. Joseph has made significant contributions to volcanic monitoring, crisis management, and community outreach in the Caribbean.


    With over 20 years of experience at the SRC, Dr. Joseph holds a BSc in Chemistry and Zoology, an MPhil in Chemistry, and a PhD in Volcanology. Her research on geothermal systems and volcanic gas emissions has secured over US$3 million in funding and numerous publications.
