Jim, along with his bandmates, is the recipient of the Long Island Music Hall of Fame's LISA (Long Island Sound Award) award for "outstanding contributions to Long Island's musical heritage". He has performed well over 5,000 gigs on Long Island, including original shows at the Boulton Center, My Father's Place, Studio Theater, and many other notable venues.
