The FTSE100 lost one percent last week, which may not be a lot in the scheme of things, but it is hovering around the psychological 7000 barrier for the first time since the pandemic. Could it break through and rise higher on the back of all hopes of a summer of big spending, or could it hld back on fears of a delayed recovery as the rest of the world struggles with vaccine deployment and rising infection numbers? Rodney also suggests if inflation was to come back to bite, all the more reason to invest in shares sooner rather than later.
