  • Today's topic is huge. It is something a lot of us have been lacking this year, and something the world needs more of. We’re going to be talking about Connection: The importance of connection with our kids, social connection during Covid,  and finally (and most importantly), the connection we have with ourselves.

    With a quick google search of “the importance of human connection” you’ll get a ton of articles and studies supporting the value of feeling connected. Human connection is basically relationships. Brene Brown, who I love,  defines connection as “the energy that exists between people when they feel seen, heard, and valued; when they can give and receive without judgment; and when they derive sustenance and strength from the relationship.”

    So let's dive in!
