My dad loved road trips.So now in my 40's my girlfriend, who does do tropical vacations. Decided that we needed to get away and Cuba was place to go. We picked Cuba because the all inclusive prices were some of the best. They had a variety of resorts to pick from and the beaches are some of the best.It was my first time going and I had no expectations really. I'm also pretty laid back, as you can tell from the podcast. So it's pretty hard to ruin my good time. I have a pretty solid ability to find the fun and enjoyment in pretty much any situation.Having said that, there are some things that you should know before you head to Cuba for fun in the sun.Join the sesh and accompany me on the journey that was our Cuban vacation. This week on Thoughts Off The Stem, a review of the Superman Movie 2025.My son and I had some guy time over a few days, so of course we had to include a night at the movies. Looking for a little action and high octane superhero violence we figured we'd check out the new Superman.With all the hype surrounding the movie we figured we'd be in for a treat. Can't go wrong with some action, some controversy and a new origin story right?Even though I am admittedly not huge fan of Superman as a character, I am a huge fan of movies. That's what I was looking forward to. A night at the movies doesn't happen that often and it's quite honestly one of the most fun things to do on a Tuesday or Friday night. In my opinion.Nostalgia baby, that's what I'm chasing. The feeling you get when going to the movies on those days really adds a little spice to my life. That's what I did with my dad when I was a kid and I wanted to share that experience with my son.So we were both pretty excited, albeit for different reasons.
