Thru Colored Lenses

By: Yaz & Rebekah
  • Summary

  • What is confirmation bias and how does it color our worldview and expectations? What colors the lenses we see the world with? If we shift those lenses slightly—like tilting a kaleidoscope—can we see the world with new insight? Yaz and Rebekah use active listening and critical thinking skills to bridge the gap between differing perspectives, combating cancel culture with real talk about really tough topics. Don’t miss their colorful conversation where no holds are barred and no topic is taboo.

    Dec 28 2021

Yaz and I (Rebekah) live in different states now and with some recent computer issues, recording the podcast has been challenging, as of late. So today we bring you the second of our “Phone Session” podcasts. These are similar to our regular podcast but they are recorded on our phone when we are catching up with each other. We will be back to our normal studio recorded podcasts soon but we hated not being able to post anything and we keep having awesome phone conversations so we thought, why not invite our listeners into those conversations?

In this convo we get caught up on current events, talk about all the craziness that is the US as well as Holiday stress and when to get to the party. Also great news...Yaz's computer is finally on its way so regular podcasts will be back soon!! Let us know if you like this adjusted format and if you love the content of our podcast, please share, like and review!!
