Tiara Darnell is the Owner and Executive Chef of Blaxicocina, Mexico City's first and only Black-owned Soul Food restaurant.

What started as a monthly Sunday Soul Food pop-up series in her home has blossomed into Blaxicocina, a beloved community space in the heart of Narvarte. Here, Tiara blends tried and true family recipes with Mexican ingredients and flavors, paying homage to the rich culinary tapestry of both her adopted home and her heritage.
