A Greater Level of Faith for This Season
Church, there is a phrase rising from the Spirit in this hour: I’ve been tried. I’ve been tested. Not as a complaint, but as a testimony. What you are walking through is not random. It is not wasted. God is using this season to bring His people into a greater level of faith, a faith that is not theoretical, not borrowed, not dependent on circumstances, but anchored in who He is.
We must fully understand what faith is in this season because everything around us is designed to shake it. Culture is shaking. Systems are shaking. Comfort is shaking. And God is asking His people to stand, not in emotion, not in fear, but in faith that has been refined by fire.
1. Faith must be defined correctly
Hebrews 11:1 (NKJV)
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
2. Trials are producing something eternal
James 1:2–4 (NKJV)
“My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.”
3. Tested faith is more valuable than comfort
1 Peter 1:6–7 (NKJV)
“In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ.”
4. Faith must be anchored in God’s Word, not circumstances
Romans 10:17 (NKJV)
“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
5. Faith requires obedience, even when the outcome is unclear
Hebrews 11:8 (NKJV)
“By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going.”
6. Faith speaks in the middle of pressure
2 Corinthians 4:13 (NKJV)
“And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, ‘I believed and therefore I spoke,’ we also believe and therefore speak.”
7. Faith refuses to quit
Galatians 6:9 (NKJV)
“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.”
8. Faith stands firm until the promise manifests
Hebrews 10:23 (NKJV)
“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.”
This is the posture of faith for this season. Hold fast. Do not waver. Do not loosen your grip. Not because you are strong, but because God is faithful. Faith is not confidence in yourself. Faith is confidence in the One who promised.
Church, you can say it with boldness today: I’ve been tried. I’ve been tested. And I am still standing. This season is producing a greater level of faith. A faith that knows God. A faith that trusts God. A faith that will carry you through whatever lies ahead.
Do not misunderstand this moment. God is not breaking you down. He is building you up. He is preparing His people to stand strong, to shine bright, and to walk in unshakable faith for the days ahead.
