Welcome to the first season finale of our podcast and it’s been a wild ride! 
We’re reviewing the second half of Brandon Sanderson's massive fantasy novel, referencing the Mistborn trilogy and Secret History to explore connections to the wider Cosmere. 
As usual we’re examining the book's themes and characters to award our Wizard of the Week and decide whether the conclusion lives up to our Sanderlanche  expectations. 

The gang are back in the Sanderson Cosmere, this time on a new world with a new magic system and new characters. Join us as we explore and try to make sense of this new universe. Topics include which magic system we prefer, some wild theories for part two and more discussion of religions, beliefs and their gatekeepers. 

In this podcast we discuss Lovecraft country from Matt Ruff. We have a good discussion on racism and how this book deals with it. We encounter new  terms such as "Sundown Town" as well as discussing what makes us uncomfortable with some of the aspects of the book and how we felt the writer dealt with it.

Today we discuss Brandon Sanderson's novella “Mistborn: Secret History”. Fair warning, this book comes after Mistborn Era one trilogy so the advice is to not listen to this until you have completed those books. 

We discuss the fallout from the end of era one and what happens after you die in the land of Mistborn and ramifications for what could be happening in the cosmere. The most disturbing part is that Andy, Kayleigh and Shirley all admit that when all is said and done, maybe the Lord Ruler wasn’t so bad… Maybe?!

Our continuing mission to guide Kayleigh through Brandon Sanderson’s cosmere universe reaches a milestone when we finish up the Mistborn first era trilogy. 
We delve into the afterlife, mythology, fate, religion (cos there’s always religion), hobbit/elvish boy bands, and discuss whether this book stuck the ending.
