The best '80s talk show by people who were there.
I have made a point of posting '80s songs on my Facebook timeline for the past couple years so that the music of the decade wasn't forgotten. imagine my surprise when I stumbled on this podcast earlier this week! I can say authoritatively as a guy who graduated high school in '83 and immediately went off and traveled the world while I was in the army that this is the best podcast about '80s music that there is. Period. John Hughes who is a guest on the show was also in the Army at about the same time I was and may have been in Korea in the second Infantry Division at the same time I was. he did the drive Time radio show for armed forces Network, however since I was an enlisted guy without a car I wasn't aware there was a drive time show at Camp Casey. lol. Lyndsey Parker is the host of the show, a true "dyed in the wool" Valley Girl. interestingly my first duny assignment was at fort Ord California and while there I have the chance to go down to Riverside and LA so imagine my surprise when she starts talking about KROQ and things like the Doctor demento show... I was beginning to think that I imagined the whole decade. LOL but now I know that the '80s was real and that there are others out there who love it and miss it just as much as I do. seriously though if you want some authoritative inside information on music of the '80s and the groups that made that music then check out the podcast. you will not regret it!
