Tradition's Finest Podcast Episode 43 includes a discussion of the following topics:

    - WNBA: LA Sparks star Rookie Cameron on-the-brink of a torn ACL?

    - NBA: Boston Celtics won their 18th NBA Championship after dismantling the Dallas Mavericks in Game 5 - the Celtics, like Godsmack, "stand alone" with 18 banners.

    - The Los Angeles Lakers have officially hired their new Head Coach...and as for any reporter's questions regarding the misconceptions associated with being the HC for the Lakers - he "does not give a F*ck!"

    - The Chicago Bulls traded Alex Caruso to the Oklahoma City Thunder for G/F Josh Giddey - trade grade: OKC: A+ CHI: A-MINOR! (we had too!)

    - The Villanova....oops...New York Knicks have acquired Mikal Bridges in a trade with the Brooklyn Nets - the Knicks now include four players who played for the University of Villanova around the same time period (i.e., Brunson, Bridges, DiVincenzo, and Hart).

    - The Golden State Warriors are reportedly prepared to offer Paul George a four-year MAX deal via opt-in and trade with the L.A. Clippers - does this trade happen? Why or why not?

    - MLB: Icon Willie Mays passed away recently at the age of 93 - a mural was unveiled in Birmingham, Alabama that honored the late Hall of Famer's life & career; Willie Mays was scheduled to attend the honorary game for the Negro Leagues during segregation at Rickwood Field a couple days later, between the SF Giants and St. Louis Cardinals; Rickwood Field is 114 years old, but those tickets were FAR from cheap!

    - NFL: "Trifling x 10000, Alex" - Kelly Stafford, the wife of Rams QB Matthew Stafford, recently shared a very personal story on a podcast: back in college at the University of Georgia, she hooked up with Matthew's back up QB to make him jealous; much like the rest of us, ESPN Analyst Stephen A. Smith questioned how did she expect to return home after airing this information out to the world?!? (if this was either of us, the next story you would hear would be "blank & blank have filed for divorce!")

    - NCAA: Ohio State HC Ryan Day has announed that they are "exploring the idea of using [Alabama star transfer who plays defense] Caleb Downs at RB," - what happened to Quinshon Judkins & TreVeyon Henderson??

    - 7 foot 9 18-year old Montreal native Oliver Rioux is set to become the tallest College Basketball player ever....guy has grown a stunning 3 inches since November 2023....what are they feeding this guy?? He is currently committed to play at the University of Florida.

    - Men's College World Series: In the battle between ISIS and the Taliban, the University of Tennessee defeated Texas A & M University in Game(s) 2 & 3 - led the NCAA in Home Runs; the SEC Conference continues to dominate the College World Series; the most interesting story to come from this World Series involves Texas A & M's Head Coach, Jim Schlossnagle, who when asked by a reporter about the Texas head coaching job, mentioned that he "left his family for the job at A & M and he had no plans of leaving anytime soon...." and 24 hours later, he bolted to Austin, Texas.

    - Miscellaneous/Other Sports News: Professional Boxer Ryan Garcia officially announced his retirement from boxing via social media; a day later he was "suspended" for a positive PED test & Haney fight was ruled a "no contest?"

    - NHL Finals: The Florida Panthers defeat the Edmonton Oilers 2-1 in Game 7, securing their first ever NHL Championship; Oiler's Connor McDavid was presented with the Playoff's MVP...thoughts on a player from the losing team receiving this award? Hell of a series....Florida went up 3-0 in the series before Edmonton rallied and won 3 straight to tie the series up.
