  • An ancient Egyptian high priest, Imhotep, is raised from the dead during a 1921 British Archaeology expedition.

    Ten years later, a mysterious visitor to the same site leads the scientists to the burial site of the princess Ank-Sen-Amon. The visitor, going by the name of Ardeth Bey meets socialite Helen Grosvenor, and believes her to be the reincarnation of his long lost love.
