  • Detection Dogs Can Help Sniff Out Trafficked Wildlife
    Feb 27 2026

Detection dogs can help detect trafficked wildlife in shipping containers, a new study from Adelaide University has found. Using an air sampling device attached to the shipping container vents, their specially trained detection dog Stan was able to detect hidden wildlife items like pelts with 98% accuracy.

Ash sits down with Dr Moloney to talk about her work.
