  • Episode 119: Should You Be Grateful and Settle?
    May 20 2024
Show notes - May 19th What does it mean to be grateful for what we have? Does gratitude only find expression when we suspend everything else and focus on the gift of children and/or family? I have come to believe and live the reality that I can have both and operate in full gratitude and full pursuit of becoming the best version of myself, especially professionally. Many of us live in the 'box' that if we are one thing, we cannot be another. Yet, we are equipped to become the very best that God created us to be. You are free to enjoy your profession of choice and seek to attain the highest level of excellence in your line. Imagine what a disservice it is to your children if you live a life that's way below your capacity. Feel free to share your thoughts. Let's engage. • Episode 118: Mama, to Dream you Need Sleep with Natalie Diaz and Kim West
    May 6 2024
Show notes - New book podcast What do Twins, Sleep, and a professional Twin Mom have in common? 😅🎉 Mamas, this week's episode is the ultimate treat. I get to host two incredible moms who collaborated to write ''The New Born Twins Sleep Guide.' Finally feels like we're not a by-the-way in all those parenting books and blogs. These women have outdone themselves, and they share their experiences, and how they have overcome the challenges to raise kids and thrive in their professional careers? Sleep deprivation is, no doubt, one of the reasons for our overwhelm. While every mom's dream is to have their child sleep through the night, we also need to manage our expectations on how twins/children of every age sleep achieve this. Understanding that will help you and your family navigate the journey of getting your twinnies to sleep, while keeping you sane through the process. Sleep training twins does not have a one-size-fits-all and this book contains unique and tailor-made guides for you and your duals. Amazingly, you'll find an exciting chapter on self-care in there, which could not have been better placed, me thinks. Join Kim, Natalie Diaz of Twiniversity, and myself as we talk about all things twins, sleep, and our professions in the latest episode. Please give us a 5-star review and share with a friend. 😊 Enjoy! Connect with Kim West (IG @thesleeplady) Connect with Natalie Diaz (on all platforms @twiniversity)

Thank you

I’m new to the twin mom gang and listening to this podcast I felt so overwhelmed with joy and clarity. Everything you both experienced in the beginning of your twins journey made me feel like I’m not alone in this chapter in my life. It’s a huge change that happens with twins and really you can prep for it before but it still comes at you full force. I was looking for audible books and didn’t know there was podcast available on this app and I am so glad I found this awesome podcast. Thank you so much and look forward to listening to all episodes. Blessings to you both 🙏🏽
