What do you think of when you consider how your package arrives at your doorstep? Do you consider the size and weight? How long it took to arrive? The various methods of logistics involved in its shipment? How about the security and asset management required to track its location throughout its journey? We would guess that maybe you didn't consider any of those things, and that's exactly the way it should be; less hassle for the consumer means a successful project between a myriad of teams and experts was successful.

Shipping, travel, and the protection of valuable assets (i.e. your package) haven't always been as seamless as they may seem today. In fact, due to advances in technology, it could be argued that it's easier to manipulate, steal, and interfere with shipping than it's ever been. Each shipment is at high risk of interference, especially when the companies sending their product don't have visibility tracking on their asset(s).
