  • In the twelfth story of this podcast, we narrate the story of how Lord Ganesh incarnated in the form of Vakratund to end the atrocities of the demon Matsrasur.

    There was a demon named Matsrasur who was a devotee of Lord Shiva and did hard penance to get a boon from Lord Shiva. After that, he was declared the Kind of Demons, and then Matsrasur attacked the three kingdoms and started to rule over them. When demi-gods were upset, they were asked by Sage Dattatrey to worship the Vakratund form of Lord Ganesh. And in this form, Lord Ganesh stepped in to end the unjust rule of the demon Matsrasur.
