    Dakota Stuart is one of the goalkeepers for UTS Balmain Water Polo First Grade team. She has also just recently been named in the Australian junior squad. She has the kindest heart and the cheekiest personality, which as teammates, we have been the fortunate beneficiaries of, experiencing the joy she brings us. On the 14th of April 2021, Dakota and her family received devastating news. Dakota has been diagnosed with Leukaemia. As a vibrant and energetic 19-year-old, this news was earth shattering. Dakota is now facing a treatment plan which, as you can imagine, is incredibly grueling and challenging for herself and her family. Dakota's positive attitude and optimistic outlook on life are helping her stay strong and focused on her long road to recovery. To support Dakota and her family, the Balmain Water Polo Club, her second family, has organised a fundraising event called Dive in for DK.
