  • Accreditation: A Building Block for Trust

    Police Chief Scott Marquardt provided information about the Wisconsin Law Enforcement Accreditation Group (WILEAG) accreditation process. The Milton Police Department first received accreditation in 2014, and is currently working through their second reaccreditation. Departments need to go through reaccreditation every 3 years. The accreditation process requires a public comment period, which will take place in October. Watch the City's website (www.milton-wi.gov) and social media for more information in the coming weeks. The Milton Police Department has also started making their policies available on the City's website for the community to review (www.milton-wi.gov/537/Policies).
