But what they bring back on board their ship may kill them all. The beginning of a franchise, the launch of an amazing director and one of the best tag lines in movie history make Alien one of our favorites!

The Lads finally talk about one of their favorite directors’ best films, 1994’s Pulp Fiction written and directed by Quentin Tarantino. We’re joined by Steve’s brother from another mother, Ian! Three interconnected, interweaving stories, add up to a modern cinematic masterpiece starring John Travolta, Samuel L. Jackson, Uma Thurman, Bruce Willis, Ving Rhames, Tim Roth and a small but memorable role by Harvey Keitel. This movie is such an important part of our film education and we had a great time discussing all the thrills, amazing dialogue and genre bending storytelling that makes up Tarantino’s sophomoric outing.

Lupita Nyong'o stars as a terminally ill woman trying to make her way through New York City to get a slice of pizza with her cat, Frodo. No, really. Along the way she meets a young law student played by Joseph Quinn and together they attempt to evade blind aliens who have an acute sense of hearing and a thirst to eradicate life on earth.

The Lads unpack the epic conclusion to Denis Villeneuve’s adaptation of Frank Herbert’s 1965 novel , 2024’s Dune: Part Two. After the Harkonnens take back control of Arrakis, Paul Atreides and his Bene Gesserit mother live with the Fremen. They will both be called on to contribute to the fight to rid Arakkis of its invaders, each in different ways. Our friend, Derek, makes his third appearance on the show to discuss everything we love about this incredible film.
