  • Dr Murphy highlights the plight of the Irish and the amazing kidnapped child slave who would return to his captors' island to bring them peace and grace. Rather than burn down the fields of his captors he forgives them and through it, spreads Christianity to a pagan people in need of hope and salvation.  Saint Patrick, never canonized, is the reason for this weekend and the festivities that abound. Despite being an Orangeman, Dr Murphy highlights the life of the Patron Saint of Ireland.
