Welcome to a very motivating and inspiring episode of the Well Rounded Grappler. Today, I talk with Brian Picklo. If you don't know his story, you are really in for a great listen today. Brian, who didn't start wrestling till his junior year in high school and never qualified for a wrestling state tournament, decides on a whim to become a walk on at Michigan State University. After injuries, setbacks, and just getting his butt kicked everyday, he defies the odds and becomes a 2x All American. Later, Brian stumbles onto judo, dives in head first, and ends up becoming an Olympic Alternate in his mid-30's.

Robert, originally from Sweden, steps into his new role as the head judo coach for the new National Training Center in Charlotte, NC.
