• What Feels Right?
    Mar 13 2023

What Feels Right? What may feel right to you may not feel suitable to those around you; there are moments in our life when we keep ourselves from making decisions because we lack confidence in who we are, which makes us insecure in our choices. However, the time has come to create solid, life-changing decisions that will lead me to the next level in life. I wanted to make an episode for those in the same phase of life as me; what we decide on leads us to the consequences we will face tomorrow. As a perfectionist in everything I do, especially in my career, it's easier to determine what is best by looking too far ahead. What kind of crazy person can just go with the flow; you see, this is an excellent trait to have, but I find myself going crazier dealing with those situations that are out of my control and force me to sit down and deal with the moment at hand. The one thing I have always been in control of is making a decision. One that sits right with me without thinking of everyone else's opinion around me; it can be not easy, but the reality is that I hold power to make that very next move. Recording this weekend at the studio was refreshing, knowing how empowered it feels to be behind the mic, in my own company, with no interruptions. So enjoy today's episode; I hope it speaks to you as it did to me. Sometimes the answer is within yourself, not with those around you.

  • Unchecked Ego
    Jan 18 2023

Humility allows us to touch the sky with our feet on the ground. It is an act of resignation to our ego and the things that keep us from improving. In this episode, I share a personal experience with something that molded my character to be a better version of myself. The ego is good; the ego left at the door must be left at the door if it's unchecked. Check yourself every once in a while. You never know what you can learn from yourself when you show humility and recognize what you need to improve. Every situation teaches us something. Although this topic was very vulnerable, I am here to gift it to you. Let's use our voices to showcase what life truly is, not just picture-perfect happiness. It's the moments of doubt, questioning my worth; every dark moment in my life has brought me to a new light—the next big move within me.

  • Taboo Conversations
    Jan 12 2023

A spontaneous episode recorded with a sick yet inspired voice, the best episodes are the ones that are not planned. Enjoy this one - Taboo Conversations

Using a podcast as a form of expression stirred up plenty of emotions. It opened up a can of worms, but I did it anyways. There were moments I felt specific episodes weren't enough; I still had more to say, but I couldn't. Once I stepped into business, I lost my first 10K; I stopped talking to many people during the launch of my branding agency. I witnessed success come after a couple of years of doing free work and working for the wrong people. There were tears, heartache, broken bonds, or as I like to call it, more ammunition for ideas and topics of internal conversations that would later turn into valuable lessons. Yet, anytime I needed to record, I felt it was taboo to speak about what I was going through. I was preparing for this new era.

I Ep. 123 I In my experience, I highly believe that all knowledge comes from experience, perception, and above all the conversations that have been a part of my life. Here is a hint of full transparency as I share more of my journey within my career along with my emotional life. I have always believed that the good, bad, and ugly are what makes a soul courageous. Each encounter allows us to understand more about ourselves and humanity. I encourage you to document your journey and allow yourself to order outside the menu and choose your own creations.

    May 3 2022

    | The Power of The Present Moment - Ep. #121 |

Most humans are never fully present in the now. They believe that the next moment could be greater. I admit that I have been that person who waits for the next moment and wishes quickly for the next one to come, losing track of what is truly ahead. The now is a gift we lose track of and only value when the bad days come around. My now is a gift I don’t want to save for later.

I am excited to share a new look to this journey of being heard with no interruptions.

I hope you enjoy long captions and episode hints on what is to come.

    Trust - Episode #120

Being behind the mic this afternoon allowed me to reflect on my journal entries, conversations and experiences I have gone through these last few years of my life. It started here, Word by LoLo, I bet and trusted on myself. I trusted in my vision and I am slowly seeing it come to life day by day. By the grace of God I am here, March 15, 2022. Fast forward 3 years of podcasting  and the start of a Branding agency @risedma amongst other projects I have on the sidelines I have learned that the more I trust in my potential and hard work things are closer than I once thought.

I have lost money, confided in the wrong people, I've had my heart broken, however through it all I was able to let go of the things that were keeping me away from trusting once more. Trust is like faith, you can't see it but you can choose to believe it.

I invite you to tune in and listen to this episode!

  • Setting The Tone
    Jan 2 2022

Controlling your emotions can be a challenge when we are faced with difficult conversations in business, relationships, family, friends etc. How do you make clear decisions moving forward? How will people respect us? My journey has been filled with experiences I have chosen to evalutate and learn from. My greatest character strength now is being assertive in my word and the actions that follow after that. I hope this episode is a reminder of the importance of what it is to set the tone with those we encounter. Sending you all #lololove Happy New Year!
