Works in Progress

By: Cam Earl
  • Summary

  • Hey there! Welcome to the show. My name's Cam. This podcast is my way of introducing you to the minds behind the fast-paced and stressful world that is the entertainment industry. Whether it be musicians, social media influencers, photographers, business owners, or someone somewhere in between, I'd like to think that the people in this podcast are some of the most interesting and hardest working out there. None of them have it all figured out, and neither do I. At the end of the day, we're all just Works In Progress. Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/cameron-earl0/support

A rising star in the world of acting and stand-up comedy

On this episode of Works In Progress, I got the pleasure of sitting down with an old friend that's been making waves recently, NYC resident and Miami U alum Alec Preston. Alec talks to me and Cam Jean about his most recent experiences working in the entertainment industry in the Big Apple. Whether it be working alongside Childish Gambino on a project, filming scenes for American Horror Story, or building upon his very own stand-up production, Kill Or Be Killed, this man keeps busy. Alec has worked relentlessly to work his way up in the entertainment industry, and I hope this episode provides some insight into the stand-up comedy and acting worlds.

Check out Alec's life and comedy club start-up on Instagram! @alec_preston and @kobkcomedy44th

Big shoutout to Mike Berns and Oxford Originals Recording Studio for assisting with the production of this episode!

The biggest DJs currently known to OSU and Miami U

Welcome back! In this episode, I got the opportunity to sit down and talk with two very talented guys, Cam Jean and Ryan Corman. Cam is a resident DJ at Barstool Sports' Best College Bar in The Midwest, Brick Street. Ryan is a resident DJ at the Ohio State University's Midway On High and Ethyl & Tank. He has started performing nationally, performing at venues ranging from Chicago, all the way to Charleston. These guys have spent countless hours working on their craft, and I hope this episode gives you a good inside look into their lives.

Go follow them on Instagram, @antomusicofficial and @cameron_jean, and be sure to go check out Oxford Originals Recording Studio!
