  • All Things Golf 2023 Season Preview
    Jan 8 2023

The Yoge boys are back with a vengeance. We return with an uber cheap yogurt from Aldi and learn that Andrew might not be a Greek yogurt guy. We discuss which Cheers character we would be before diving into a full on, full frontal preview of 2023's upcoming golf year. Scott and Andrew talk about their hopes, dreams, and aspirations for their own games, but know it's going to be tough sledding. We talk finding time, trying to travel and play new courses, buddies trips, and playing golf with the kiddos. For the upcoming year, we talk about new additions to the podcast and brand, like sketches, history lessons, and more diversified content to look forward to. (Andrew teases the Bro Golf By Laws in an homage to Barney Stinson's Bro Code)

We go way too long discussing social media bro golf and what's to come there, what happened to golf instruction on Instagram, pop in on some up and comers on the LPGA, and delve pretty deep into the upcoming PGA Tour season and the majors. We make our pics for the Tournament of Champions as well as some of our predictions for the majors. Andrew dubs this season the Year of Rory ( and Scott agrees) and we talk about some other players we see making moves. When and how often will we see Tiger Woods? Who will be player of the year, rookie of the year, and comeback player of the year, and it wouldn't be Hawaii week without a mention of Mark Rolfing.

  • Episode 7-The Last Yoge-2022 Season Wrap Up
    Dec 20 2022

The boys are back again after a few weeks off, and are being surprisingly nice to each other. Turns out, if there is not a TV behind you, the video looks a lot better. Andrew mixes up a couple of mules. We settle in for a long one to recap a wild and wondrous 2022 in the world of golf, starting with a look back at our Yogurt reviews to date. We riff on our favorites and tease a change to our format for next year. Scott continues to gush on Icelandic Provisions and their wonderful Skyr. His warranty on his computer then expires, and expires a few more times during the episode.

Andrew and Scott recap their own golf seasons, and realize that they don’t really like playing golf, they just like hanging with their bros ON a golf course. Well, they do like playing golf, but for new reasons, and they both learn to appreciate the little things about the game that make it special. Andrew and Scott both fail to break 80 on the season. Considering how many sub 40 9s Andrew plays, it’s an incredible feat that he didn’t back into a 79. We talk about our group golf trip, and how a bunch of new friendships were born. The boys were certainly buzzin within moments of meeting each other. We find out that we have to book our next trip in June, TODAY! Scott tells about his low round count for the year, and a 79 watch that got away, and learns that there’s more to life than 79s (but is there really?) We also find out that our wives still love us whether we shoot 76 or not. Also, will Andrew ever stop buying golf hoodies??? Doubt it.

We completely bypass talking about bro golf, and end up getting lost in the sauce of the PGA Tour, which we don’t do that often. We finally talk LIV and surprisingly, we are aligned. Usually we disagree on everything! We recap the majors and some forgotten stories. Talk about the players who flew under the radar, and Andrew drops some crazy stats on us. Made for TV Matches are lame (but Andrew loves them). We then take it down the home stretch with our Players of the Year and other things like that, and then close it out with a final Chamoion Golfer of the Week, where Andrew roasts Scott for using the same golfer twice, and an On This Day to close it out.

  • Episode 6- The Shot Show
    Nov 21 2022

And we back and we back and we back. This week, we get caught up again after missing a week to get our house in order and dial up what Andrew eloquently dubs, The Shot Show! Andrew gets called out for breathing too loud. Scott drops a Frasier reference that might surprise you. We experience a new look Oikos model that satisfies both of us for once. After a month of explaining the concept, Scott still has no idea how this works, but lobbies for the first draft pick based on his poor performance on the course in 2022. The bros do a draft style list of various “shots” in golf. We discuss most memorable GOOD professional golf shots and most memorable BAD professional golf shots. YJS gets some major love in both categories(somehow Andrew has never seen “Go Get That!”), and Tiger tries to dominate the good shots category. David Hearn and the Nike One Tour D ball get shout outs (DEEP CUT!) as we work our way through some of our fondest memories of the last couple decades. We first pump and raise the roof through a cornucopia of legendary moments. Jean Van De Velde resurfaces and DJ has had a lot of tough scenes.

In the second half, Andrew crushes it in the Good Shot phrases department. “Pissed on” makes its first appearance and we reminisce about British announcers. The guys get personal and do a draft of their own favorite clubs where Andrew ends up with Driver and 3 Wood and the blue goblet of fire emerges as a major player in the draft order. We end it with a draft of our favorite all time clubs, where TaylorMade stands tall and the Adam’s Tight Lies goes into not 1, but 2 bags! On This Day takes us back to the Covid days and a return to World #1 awaits our Champion Golfer of the Week.

  • Episode 5 - IT'S A TRAP! Golf Club Buying Myths and Mistakes
    Nov 11 2022

The boys make it 5 weeks in a row, much to Andrew’s surprise, Scott hasn’t quit. We avoid dropping our first F-Bomb. In honor of cold weather rolling in, the guys take a trip to Iceland for a new yogurt experience, 1000 years in the making. SKYR! Andrew longs for a savory yogurt option.

We take a deep dive in how to help golfers make wise decisions when buying golf clubs and discuss club buying myths and mistakes. Scott reminds us that we can’t hit a 3 wood, but we can hit a 9 wood. Andrew talks too loud(You’re clipping bro!) about how to avoid chasing distance and building a bag that suits your overall game. We use some silly buzz words like angle of descent and Andrew enlightens us on the performance benefits of hollowness. We talk forged Vs. cast and realize a ball can only go so far. Scott gets way too technical when talking about sound and feel and blows Andrew’s mind.

Are you buying the right putter? Probably not. Scott forces Andrew to summarize against his will for the sake of the listeners. Andrew doesn’t buy new clubs because he “bombs it”, but he does give away clubs. (And makes yet another grammatical error)

We bring you another edition of Champion Golfer of the Week featuring a certain TW, and a Large Fijian gets some love on “On This Day”.

  • Episode 4 - Invasion of the Spooktacular - Halloween Golf Special
    Nov 1 2022

It’s Halloween season and the bros are here to haunt you with a short, but spooky, Halloween special. Andrew dives into his long awaited Chili Open round and tells us the origin of his banana costume. Target’s inventory is off and the guys settle for another Chobani Flip. Scott recounts a scary moment when he had to give up a free round to visit his wife in the hospital and Andrew’s childhood friends get knocked out on the course. We learn about 4 golf courses that are haunted, named after lost souls, and sitting on the grounds of famous folklore. A golf course built and named after a local killer, a major championship venue that pays homage to the man who once lived on the property, an iconic course named after a certain headless horseman, and a haunted golf course that the locals swear has a real ghost lurking around the 18th green.

Finally, Andrew gives us the chills with an “On This Day” murder mystery that involves a golf club and “On This Day” shows some love to one of Scott’s favorite players.

  • Episode 3 - Return of the Professionals, I Will Remember You
    Nov 1 2022

The bros take a look back at some golfers of yesteryear that you either never heard of, forgot about, or just didn’t know the full story of. Andrew says we aren’t giving out full names and then proceeds to immediately drop Scott’s entire family’s names. Scott finally gives a good score to a yogurt and Andrew eats his first ever Chobani Flip. We do some medium sized dives into a former #1 Amateur, a Tiger killer, a trip to the early 1900s and a back to back US Open Champ, a short lived Arby’s sponsorship ( and another bungled last name for Andrew), a World #1, and deeper dive into the history of golf video games.

Finally, we check in with recurring segments “Champion Golfer of the Week” where Andrew shouts a man whose hole in one was taken away, and  “On This Day” where we throw it back to 1860 and a spider tries to attack us.

  • Episode 2: Legend of the Unwritten Rules of Golf Manuscript
    Nov 1 2022

The boys are back. Andrew breaks his computer and Scott tries pumpkin yogurt for the first time. The studio gets a makeover (WE HAVE A DESK!) Scott’s son tries to make him late when he decides he wants to tee up at 8 PM. Andrew breaks down his old man golf charity scramble in honor of his dad’s 70th birthday. We break down a litany of unwritten and written rules of golf. Scott shows us how stingy he is when it comes to upholding the rules while Andrew apparently will let a playing partner do whatever they like. We learn that doing a “Men in Black” mind eraser (Neurolizer) is the best way to forget about a bad day on the golf course. We discuss talking to another player’s ball, when to say “nice shot bro”, talking during a no-hitter, cell phones on the course, dressing up to play golf, and WWWAAAAAYYYYY more. Scott is not buying drinks when he makes a hole in one and Andrew explains “Texas Rules”. Andrew admits to being a reverse sandbagger and refuses to play it as it lies. Scott explains why he likes a little side of rage with his golf, and learns that he still needs to tuck in his shirt at a private country club. Weigh in yourself in the comments and let us know what you think!

Finally, we check in with recurring segments “Champion Golfer of the Week” where Scott roasts LIV and “On This Day” where Andrew bungles another name.

  • Episode 1: A New Yoge-Changing Golf Forever
    Nov 1 2022

In the 1st episode, we meet our hosts, Scott and Andrew, two veterans of the golf industry. They tell us about their background in golf and share a delicious Noosa Salted Caramel YogHurt. Andrew and Scott take a look at the effects of COVID on the industry and how the game changed (or kind of didn’t). Andrew discusses how golf was the only thing to do during COVID besides working out. What are manufacturers, golf courses, and social media doing to take advantage of the recent golf boom and influx of new players. Did those players stay? Did they leave? What could the industry have done differently to keep them? We find out that Andrew did not invent drinking 15 beers on the golf course. Scott muses on how golf courses can bring more hospitality to the experience and how golf course design can keep players coming back. Did the golf course/housing development boom of the 90’s set us back on interesting and enjoyable golf course design. Is St. Andrews the model for how a course should play for the everyday golfer? Scott says YES! Andrew talks about his new favorite golf apparel brands, the guys discuss “Bro Golf” and how Instagram golfers are changing the way golf is consumed. Running people over with golf carts gets an honorable mention. Finally, we check in with recurring segments “Champion Golfer of the Week” and “On This Day”.
