With a slew of films to their names, Joel and Ethan Coen are known for doing things a little bit off centre. From a western anthology featuring a singing cowboy and a limbless thespian, to a black comedy about ransom money and a woodchipper. Their films are certainly unique and this week we take a look at a few of their works and try to find the common threads between what they produce.

This week we take we turn it up to 11 and take a look at the mockumentary genre, in particular the works of Christopher Guest. From 'This Is Spinal Tap' to 'Best In Show' to 'Mascots', Guest has the ability to pick up the off-beat and down right bizarre aspects of these worlds creating some truly unique characters and situations, but not always to everyone's tastes...
