Amani Simpson, social entrepreneur and founder of AVIARD Inspires shares his story. Amani was set upon by a gang of 20 people and stabbed 7 times after intervening in a burglary in 2011, he was stabbed in the chest, arms and legs. Now he’s a motivational speaker and has made a short film about his attack called ‘Amani’. In our second story, reporter Tapiwa talks to Shanea, who is a youth campaigner and activist doing amazing things in her community, she is the founder of the Your Life More Life, a project that's determined to make Newham a safer place.
