Hope and Jackie are here with some updates and they def recorded this after a night of country dancing so you've been warned. After providing some personal updates, they reminisce about the first season of Avant Gossip, which is basically the same podcast but with better sound quality and a wider focus on urban planning, art, and design. The first season covered topics from artist Hilma af Klint to the significance of roller rinks within the US Civil Rights movement. It's basically the same thing, but we wanted a fresh start and a name that encompasses what we do: read about art, fashion, design, and culture and talk about it (ie discuss meaning, dish hot takes, and look up the sun sign of everyone involved.)
